Galgotias University(known as GU) is a co-educational private university in Greater Noida (NCR) in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Previously known as Galgotias Educational Institutions, it was granted university status in 2011 by the Uttar Pradesh government. Galgotias University was established by the Uttar Pradesh Galgotias University Act No. 14 of 2011 under section 2(f) and section 22(1) of UGC Act 1956

Galgotias Engineering Entrance Examination[edit]

GEEE (Galgotias Engineering Entrance Examination) is an entrance exam conducted by Galgotias University for providing admissions to eligible candidates to various undergraduate engineering programs.

GEEE Selection Procedure: Selection procedure is based on the score obtained by the candidate in the GEEE.

GEEE 2016 Paper Pattern:

• Time duration is 90 minutes.
• GEEE will consist of objective type questions having multiple choices.
• There will be three parts- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
• Each subject will have 30 questions and question carries one mark.
• There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
• Syllabus will be covered mostly from the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE.
• GEEE will be in English only.

In 2016, Galgotias Engineering Entrance Exam (GEEE) will be conducting on June 12, 2016 across different cities in India.

Cost of Application is Rs. 800/-, which covers the cost of Application form, University Brochure cum Information Handbook and Examination fee. Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Payment towards application can be made through Credit card and Debit card.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualification for admission. Having been called for the test/counseling does not necessarily mean acceptance of the eligibility.

It is mandatory that all the Original relevant documents (Including Original Marketsheet, Migration certificate etc) should be submitted to admissions office for verification.

Admission to various programme will however be subject to verification of facts from the original/documents of the candidates. In case any discrepancy shall arise, even at a later point of time after admission, the management reserves all right to cancel the candidate’s admission and this decision shall be final.

PROCEDURE
Admission to the B.Tech programme would be done on the basis of rank obtained in SEE - UPTU  conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. Admission to 85% of the total seats would be made through state level centralized counselling conducted by the University. 15% management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counselling based on the merit of SEE- UPTU/AIEEE rank & merit in qualifying examination.

Direct admission to Second year B.Tech. (Lateral entry) 
* Candidates who have passed ‘three years Engg. Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 60% marks’ OR ‘whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and have passed three years Engg. Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U. P.’, in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture), are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.

* Candidates who have passed ‘three years B.Sc. degree with mathematics as one of the subject from any recognized University; securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.

Online Registration

The Candidate may fill the Online Application Form as given on the website along with complete detail by Clicking on the "APPLY ONLINE" tab given on the home page of the website.
After filling the complete form correctly and by clicking on the 'Submit' icon -  the candidate will be routed to the "Axis Bank payment gateway".
The payment of Rs 1100/- can be made online by using your credit card / debit card of any Bank.
On successful application, the system will generate a unique ID  which will be candidate’s unique identification number throughout the admission process
An auto generated email/sms will be sent to the candidate’s email id/mobile no..
